Ice Plant?

I bought something from a local nursery. they called it an ice plant. I have done Google searches and have found "ice plants" that do look similar to what I have, although not exactly like it. I guess I have a variation of what I have been able to find on the internet. They had it growing in a greenhouse and had the soil very wet. Can anyone tell me more about this plant?

Actually. it is a succulent. Out here, they use it on the sides of our freeways for ground cover. Ours has yellow and orange flowers. They are always full of water in the leaf, and quite spongy. They can tolerate and survive drought conditions, which is why they were planted here to begin with. Less care needed!
