    Split Rock (Pleiospilos nelii) care

So I was at Lowes today (somewhere i should never go alone! lol) and found these Split rock plants, thought they were awesome so I got one.

I see there is another person that has some here and am wondering what works best for them? There isnt much on the pot as far as care goes, are they like other succulents/cacti as far as soil goes?

Hey NaRnAr, rco911 would probably know best as to how to care for them hopefully he will see this soon, im pretty sure they get the same type care as Lithops. Whatever ya do dont water um.. Dont put the pot where the roots and plants can get cold if the potting media is wet. They look pretty plump from what i can see in your pic so they dont need any water right now. What type potting media do they have um in, can ya tell from what it looks like??
You can always try these places as well, that might have some info on the best care for them.

this is where i hang out you can go right to the succulent section and post and you will get a answer quickly also there are many others that have these type stones..

Thanks Barracuda That helps a lot!

Dont water them huh... that was the first thing I did. THe soil was incredibly dry...falling out of the drainage holes dry. I didnt water it much just a couple spoonfuls of water. Right now its sitting on my kitchen counter, nice and warm.

The soil..let me look...the top is covered with moss, pretty green. Looking through the drainage holes I see lots of roots...not much soil.
