Aloe

Ah, the wondrous Aloe vera, healer of burns! I love your plants, although, admittedly some of them don't look like A. vera. Maybe they're just in a different stage of development. Anyhow, it looks like you're doing a great job! Keep it up!

Love your aloes!

This is the only one I have at the moment. I am still trying to ID it.

That aloe looks very similar to my (now dead) Aloe x 'Walmsey's Blue'

Looking at other photos of it now on Google. It does look very similar.

How did yours die?

Here's my Aloes.

Here's a cute little lizard that was jumping from my Blue Elf onto a metal plant shelf I have on my back patio. Took them fast, not the best quality.

Beautiful. You are so lucky, you get to grow them in the ground. :hail:

Two new (to me) aloes on the back - aloe Crosby's prolific, and aloe juvenna.

And I have now fallen in love with haworthia...Haworthia reinwardtii var. brevicula.

Nice! I like the Juvenna, I lack that in my collection.

I love haworthia too. Shame the flowers are such a letdown.

I used to have a big ten gallon pot full of Crosby's Prolific. It got a root disease last year and died. I was devastated but now have some fairly good sized specimens I got recently. I have actually gotten a fair few new aloe. I'll have to photograph them all some day.

I do have these ready though, taken today. My Aloe Variegata.

How fast does that 'Pickled Pink' grow? I just got one at Home Depot.

I've only had it for a month or so and it's put out a few new offsets. It was a pretty mature pot when I got it. I'd say it grows similarly to aloe vera.
