    Very nice! Believe it or not, I was *just* Googling Huernia oculata and admiring its flowers. I have an Orbea hardyi blooming now and it's turning me on to Stapeliads.

    Ain't the Stapelioids amazing, John ?! That looks like a beauty.
    I bloomed Orbea dummeri this summer for the first time, and Huernia zebrina has been putting on a show for weeks too.

    Very nice. I enjoy this genus quite a bit.

    PS: I noticed the original post date. How is this particular
    plant now?
