Sent out today along with the 4 extra stamps and the note..
Sounds perfect! Your seeds are waiting
@ Massmorels: It's hard to make the same mistake twice sometimes. I'm sure you've done an excellent job! (Mass is hinting at the time he sent me 10 stamps and got almost 1000 seeds in return
)
Thanks for all who are participating and helping to make history so to speak. TF (Terra Forums) has been rising to meet my challenge! I hope I didn't come across as rude to anyone, the massive reply the first day was something I've never seen before. Now that the initial "rush" is over I'll be able to be a bit more cordial
Just for those of you who are curious what I must do for a SASE:
1. Collect seed. Several thousand are needed for something like this. Collection will probably be ongoing until the winter. MANY plants are usually needed also.
2. Separate the seed from the husks.
3. Pack the stored seed into packets.
4. Get a SASE going
5. Reply to PMs, maintain the SASE thread
6. Check PO box, get SASEs
7. Package seed and send it out.
8. Help people whose SASEs get lost (which is why you must write neatly. Those postal machines make mistakes...and things happen too. Another tip--don't put your mail in a drop on Sunday...the drop may be full.)
9.Repeat the process all over again
Yes, this SASE ought to be exciting!
