    N. truncata LL coming into bloom

    Hello all,

Upon close look of the growing point this morning I noticed that my N. truncata (lowland form) will be coming into bloom in the next month or two. Sex is unknown at the moment but figured I would post and throw some feelers out there if anyone else is noticing any blooms coming up within their own collection.
    Thanks

Awwww makes me miss my LL truncata. May it rest in peace. It was male and about the size of yours.

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like the flowering periods will likely not overlap unfortunately as his plant is much further ahead than mine. Maybe storing pollen in the fridge may help preserve the freshness until I can determine the sex.

I just have to comment. What a stunning plant. So much nicer than my Pasian.

Thank you all for the kind compliments. It's a slow grower but sure knows how to reward patience!

Depending on the sex and what I am able to locate as a mate, I'll most likely do what I usually do and give away a large portion of my resulting seed. Before anyone gets to excited this likely won't be until this summer when all is said and done.
Now if my N. lowii x campanulata would just cooperate and flower that would make a neat hybrid IMO
