    Free sarracenia seed

Hybrid sarracenia seed are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. I am clearing out my “seed vault” and up for grabs are sarracenia seed collected from my bog plants last year. These are either selfed or cross-pollinated with a different variety by nature (bumble bees), so only the seed parent is known. I did hand-pollinate between some varieties, but lost that documentation and have no idea which ones I did. These might produce some interesting offspring regardless. These seeds have been stored in my refrigerator since collection last fall.

    Shipping is on me.

    USA only.

Place your name on the list under what you are interested in, adding numbers if necessary. You can enter on more than one list. Copy and paste all lists above yours even if entering on only one list, not doing so will forfeit your entry. I will do a draw for winners sometime this weekend.

(For available sarracenia species seed, see my listings in the Terraforums Classifieds section)

    S. leucophylla “Alba Top” - I hand-pollinated between its flowers, but flowers were not protected from cross-pollination with plants that may have been flowering at the same time.
