Hey everyone,
I am looking for a "pregnant onion" ( I think it may also be called a "sea onion"). In case you are wondering, it is the large onionlike plant that grows small bulbils from its skin as it peels back. I realy dont know a better way to describe it, but I would really appreciate it if someone is able to help me out.

Wow, and I thought I was the only one who knew what a pregnant onion was.

It's a very neat plant! Well grown leaves can reach 20 foot long! It is a pretty undemanding character too, and it's cool to watch the scape grow, sort of like the off spring of a rocket and a snake. This one is a lilly, in case anyone is curious. They make better bulbletts if they are plantrd to their neck in the medium, although they will also form with about half the bulb exposed.

I think it is an all around fun plant!
