    I am starting over and have only a few plants now.

    Yes, D. filiformis (except "Florida All Red" form) requires a stratification period.

    If you have an extra one, I'd be interested in giving this one a go. I'm a semi-newbie and looking to try out new types of plants that you don't see that much. I REALLY love the look of this one too with its long, thin tentacle like leaves and copious amounts of dew. [img]http://www.**********.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new/smile.gif[/img]

    I may be interested...newbie here...round 6 plants. Not to sure how easy these are though(sound a bit difficult). PM me and go ahead and include your experience too.

    Nflytrap- it's a very easy species and VERY pretty (it reminds me of a drosophyllum)

    i should start calling it Newbie's Drosophyllum.
