    Just a little note here... Those of you that want gemmae should consider sending a small bubble-wrap envelope instead of the standard letter envelope. I have had seeds sent in standard envelopes arrive to me as powder on several occasions. Gemmae are actual living tissue and one good shot through a high speed envelope processor can ruin them in short order.

    Tamlin or some of the other big gemmae distributors will probably be a good source of information on the best way to ship gemmae so they arrive in good condition.

    I know William(Tamlin) sends them in little packets that are wrapped in a little bit of bubble wrap.

    Gemmae do ripen Nate, eventually they will look like a round mounded green mass, touch them with small pointy object the they will go SPROING!, but be careful to do this not in the vincinity of other CP pots to avoid the risk of spreading. My 2 1 gallon pots of D> scorpioides are crowned with gemmae!
