    Hey Goldtrap,

Here are some pages with Ibicella cultivation info, though it may not be more than you already know:

    http://www.plantoftheweek.org/week139.shtml

    http://www.flytrap.demon.co.uk/notes/ibicella.htm

    http://www.sarracenia.com/faq/faq5720.html

The results of a few Google searches:

    Ibicella cultivation

    Ibicella lutea cultivation

    Growing Ibicella from seed

    Ibicella lutea

    Ibicella

Also, it wouldn't hurt to ask the person you obtained the seed from.

thank you both for answering my question , the savage garden book does not tell much info so i would'nt think the book would help much , about the seed thing , it is an annual , many plants are annuals , they die after setting seed so if i cut the flowers off then i would not get another plant .

    Hi goldtrap:

If you look further down in this section of the discussion, there is a topic on ibicella, I believe a memeber "kupo" posted some good information on how to get the seed germinated. Personally, I have never grow this species my-self (seeds are forbiden to entry into New Zealand, so I am still looking for any local source) so, can not offer you much help except directing you to the post.
