Audubon Magazine and CP article

The Audubon Magazine has a nice short piece on CP's and conservation in the March/April 2008 issue. I haven't seen the hard copy yet, but found the on-line version in my web-wanderings:

The online Audubon Magazine also has a nice review and great photo's from Timber Press' The Curious World of Carnivorous Plants: A Comprehensive Guide to Their Biology and Cultivation
by Wilhelm Barthlott, Stefan Porembski, Rüdiger Seine, and Inge Theise

Very good article! Any NC land that has flytraps is also most likely supporting Sarracenia as well.

Its really great to see a good conservation article like that in such a major publication. Hopefully that will raise a lot of awareness.

Thanks for sharing that. :)

You're welcome! I'm glad to share! I also thought it was a good to see something like this in a mainstream periodical. I think the author has been specializing in wetland type pieces--might be interesting to see if the author'd be up for doing other CP conservation pieces in the future. Perhaps something on Sarracenia?
