    S. oreophila on Ebay, once again...

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/CARNIVOROUS-PITCH...item335e762b63

The seller acknowledges that S. oreophila is indeed very endangered, but do they have the proper permits for shipping? Moreover, how do they know the winner/buyer will have the proper permits? Not too sure someone's gonna buy some 35 or 50$ permits to get seeds they bought for 3 bucks

Cites excludes seeds, so getting it to the border isn't a problem. I'm not sure even sure if the law prevents it from going across state lines if it's directly from another country.

CITES regulates any part of a specimen on their appendices from being traded internationally. Any part of a specimen, in this case a plant, denotes the plant, roots, seeds, leaves, flowers, etc. I think, I read that before on their site, let me go find it... I could be wrong of course.

It changed. I thought that to, but apparently it's otherwise now.

Interesting... could've sworn it included seeds. Good thing tho, now seeds can be ordered with ease

But that still leaves phytosanitary regulations, with the seeds having to be clean for inspection. Unless that has changed as well
