So I've been going to this site for around 5 years now and the pictures span the last 3 years. The pictures go from most recent to oldest.

That's it for now, hope you enjoyed them!

The pink flower is a Rhexia, possibly R. virginica. Once they're in your collection you cannot get rid of it.

well I'm glad its not in my collection then :D

It's too late, you looked at it.

damn... guess that means more weeding...

Great shots. Looks like a great day to be out there too.

Phil and I were discussing this a few weeks ago. The S. x catesbaeis look a lot like S. alata. Someone might have planted some there..... Any chance you could go back during flowering season and snap some shots of the flowers?

Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing.

I was hoping to go back soon, probably next weekend if I can. I really doubt that anyone has planted any sarrs there in awhile if ever.

Alrighty folks, went to Croatan this past weekend with jht-union where we spent Saturday exploring on our own and on Sunday we met with a newer TF member, wakeboarder (a native of Newbern, NC) and we explored some other parts of Croatan. Without further ado, here are the pics which will probably come in about 4 or 5 posts.

Lets start with some sphagnum!

4s wait for the last 2 or 3 posts, I organized everything on purpose but I left out the most unique plants so I could have them all in the last post, give everyone a reason to come you know. I might actually start a separate thread for them.
