    International shipping?

well, after meeting many people in the USA by the handy chatbox, i've made a few friends, and i would like to know how i can make some sort of SASE so i can trade seeds to people in the US. i don't know if i have to purchase a CITES permit, i'd rather not, all my seeds right now are a few filiformis, and i might get some drosera capensis seeds later, if my plants produce seeds from their flower stalks.

Thanks a lot in advance for your reply!

What do you mean you would rather not to have to purchase a CITES permit?

I think he means he doesn't want to go through all the hassle of the CITES permit, and rather not ship anythig.

    petmantis,

    D. filiformis and D. capensis are not on the CITES list. However, your friends in the USA will need to have import permits to have the seeds sent to them.

Please refer to the following thread for more information.

petmantis, the import permit is applied by the recipients i.e. your friends in USA. You might need to apply for export permit for Quebec.
