I've had bad feeling about dormancy, ever since I froze 2 vfts in the fridge last year. I know that there's a dormancy thread out there, but what about dormancy without a refrigerator? Is there anyone out there in a tropical climate that knows a way to put temperate plants into dormancy sans refrigerator? I know that short photoperiod is also important in dormancy, so would putting the plants in my cold-at-night-room be enough? Any information is apprecieated.
P.S. The plants are: a few VFTs, a S leucophylla 'tarnock', and a S x Judith Hindle
