    Are you going to add any other fishes to it? I think some other bottom dwellers would add to the effect, hiding in the rocks and plantings. I'm partial to the kuhli loach myself but they might be troublesome if you intend to breed things... I think they eat eggs. Have you ever looked into freshwater lobsters? I always wanted one of those. Very nice thus far.

    Looks awesome! Like seedjar said, you might be able to introduce crayfish. I used to have a few, and there is a great forum about them. But, I wouldn't put them in that tank; they would most likely eat the shrimp, and try to eat the lil fish, though they might be too fast.

    ahhh no bottom dwellers to ruin the plants and no crayfish!

    I might add some more fish. Maybe 3 ottos. this is really more of a plant tank than a fish tank. I just got the fish to add movement and poop.

    I just "planted" the Riccia fluitans and the weeping moss. It looks like crap in there now with a green craft grid and rubberbands...

    I'll post pics when the water clears. This is going to be my "journal" for my aquarium.
