I've wanted to do a Betta in a mini planted tank (with glass lid) for a while now and decided I will do it soon partly as a way to dispose on uneaten fruit flies but also as entertainment for the cats as winter sets in and they start to stay indoors.
I've been reading online and it seems cats see purple, green and blue the most. Does anyone have cats and various bettas and notice a preference for watching one color over the other?
I have some Flourite but Seachem has a new black clay substrate also for planted aquaria has anyone used this is it any better or worse than the Flourite? And yes Clint, I will be adding some terrestrial utrics and crossing my fingers! LOL
