Back at the BACPS show and sale I remember seeing snowball shrimp suggested for helping keep algae off of utricularia roots when keeping utrics in the Geoff Wong-style display or elgecko pots. It got me to thinking: could I have a sustained population of neocaridina with U. gibba or would the shrimp hatchlings get gobbled up by the gibba? I've had my cherry red neos for a few years in my 10g aquarium so I'll be able to do some experiments and have a safe "stock" of shrimp from which to draw. Just posting a thought.
