Oh yes, I wasn't trying to downplay your ideas. I was just explaining why they did it the way that they did. A little bit of simple programming could have made it less messy, you're very right! Would be a fun project to work on, but I imagine it'd take quite a bit of thinking. I'm having quite a bit of fun working through this thing!

So most of us think "key" - so the proper way to input that is to change the address so that it reads
