A fellow officer, a good man, and a good friend, Detective Ron Gardner of the Hastigns Police Department, passed away at 8 AM this morning. This was completely unexpected. Ron was only 51 years of age. I ask that you say a pray of strength and God's love for his widow, Linda, and his family.

    Thank you

I'll do just that. Thanks for letting us know, and thanks to you and your fellow officers for all that you do.

I dont know if he was a christian or not, i think so But I would like to refrence Isaiah 57: 1-2

    " (1) The righteous perish,
    and no one ponders it in his heart;
    devout men are taken away,
    and n one understands
that the righteous are taken away
    to be spared from evil.
    (2) those who walk uprightly
    enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death"

Ok so i see this as a funeral can be happnies and saddness yes a loved one or some one close is lost, but we must celibrate that they are in hevan now! They have gone to where they have hopefully been lving their lives for to the best of wich they can! So its ok to be sad, but i honestly want my Death To be a ceibratino to be honest im going to where ive worked to go to, and get to thank Jesus with all my heart for saving me from my sin.

    Cheers

Holy Crow! Then we WILL see him again!! Cool!!

As I once read, Grave, where is thy victory
    Death, where is thy sting.

Don't want to leave my family either. But, we don't have that control. It is a good thing to know that we have a place to be in peace and love. Thankfully, it was not a violent death, but to those left behind, that does not ease the pain of losing your loved ones. He is on my prayer list, Rose. And his family.

    Their hearts are too big
    Their wallets too thin.
    They're an integral part
Of the world we live in.

    They're at work everyday;
    Come rain, sleet or snow.
    'Cause dedication and honor
    Are all that they know.

    They deal with the worst
    Day in and day out.
They're the ones who come running
When it's help that you shout.

    They wear badges and guns
    These modern-day knights.
    But neither of these
    Protect them from fright.

They get hit, kicked and spit on
    And oinked at like swine.
    Yet they always come back
    With boots and belt shined.

    They stand their ground firm
    When others would run.
And when it's over, they smile
As if to them it's great fun.

    When all else is bad
    They're the ones doing good.
    Doing right by the law
As we all know we should.

    Still often it seems
    They get no respect.
    Some even gripe
    When they catch a suspect.

    They violated my rights!
    The guilty will say.
    But how about what they
    Give up everyday?

    They don't see their kids,
    Their husband or wife.
    To the families it seems
That the job is the life.

    They get slashed at and stabbed;
    Beaten, bloodied and shot.
    And all too often,
    One gives all he's got.

    Brave brothers and sisters
    Is what they all are.
    When one is killed,
    They mourn near and far.

    Only then do we see
    Their toughness wear thin.
    And just for a moment,
    They let us all in.

    They're human you see,
    These warriors true.
    Regardless of if
They wear green, brown or blue.

    They distinguish themselves
    Above all the rest.
    And it's not just about
    The badge on their chest.

    For they see the things
    We don't want to see.
    They are the ones
    That protect you and me.

    They do all the things
    Only the finest will do.
They're the brave men and women
Of the thin line of blue.

    Rest In Peace My Brother
