Yeah I know but Karen had the greatest set of female pipe on the planet. Plus she was awesome on the drums AND was a hot babe. The perfect woman!

I was a drummer years ago, she was like my first influence.

LOL! I'm the same age as you. Yeah, most folks don't know about her being a drummer. Never thought of her as hot, though. That distinction was reserved for Olivia Newton-John & Linda Ronstadt.

Hi Jim,
I can't argue with those 2 being gorgeous! Linda in her younger days was WOW too!

Anyway I'm a big Karen fan, that voice just kills me to this day. What range!

One of my college roommates had these ONJ posters in our room and years later a co-worker said that he use to write her fanmail. I bought a couple albums, from the 1973 / 1974 timeperiod. Ended up buying a greatest hits CD.

Bought the Vol 1 & 2 greatest hits CD for Linda Ronstadt. Would like to get the Greatest Hits of the Carpenters (1969-1975?) someday. She certainly did have a strong voice, especially the lower notes. Too bad the fight for her life was too late.

If you can get the Carpenters boxed set, some rare real early stuff on there.

Yes, she left us FAR too early....

I always thought Linda Ronstadt & Pat Benatar looked somewhat similar:

But then again, I think Barry Manilow looks like Joe Montana!
