This is wonderful stuff! The Western Hemisphere is really getting on the map. The Amazon indigenes, long written off as stone-age primitives, may now have to be conceded to have had a much richer and more complex social structure. About time they were given the respect that they (and all of us) deserve as human beings.
Along with being one of the regional hot-spots for cps, Brazil can now lay claim to being one of the cultural centers of the pre-Columbian western hemisphere. (all of which centers should also be considered equal in value to, but different from, their equivalents in Europe, Africa, Asia...wherever)
