Bees visiting my cp bog

Hi,

I have a little question.. why do the bees visit my cp bog ?
They land on the peat, crawl around for a while, like they are searching for something, and then take of again. I have no cp's flowering right now so is there any kind of mineral or nutriënt in the peat that attract bees ?

i see wasps doing the same thing...they dont' go near the plants, but probe around the sphagnum for some reason...and then take off again.

getting a drink, maybe? I assume your bog is rather wet (being a bog and all).
