Hey, if it is a bangwagon and it deals with Michigan I will jump on it. I do not like baseball but I will root for them on espnnews. I am happy they beat the yankees though.

I have a seat on the bandwagon because the first game I ever went to was at Tiger Stadium in 1968. Too bad it was only a mid-season game and not that year's World Series against St. Louis with Bob Gibson.

Anyway, back to PAK's picks. Mine would be:

Buffalo over Detroit (should be cancelled so people can see the Tigers)
Baltimore over Carolina (depending on which Carolina team shows up)
    Cincinnati over Tampa Bay
Houston over Dallas (it would be an easier pick with the 13 point spread)
Atlanta over NY Giants (a team I dislike over a team I can't stand)
New Orleans over Philadelphia (this is wrong, but I like the Saints)
Seattle over St. Louis (but I really have no idea)
Tennessee over Washington (almost certainly wrong, but I don't like the Redskins)
Kansas City over Pittsburgh (the Steelers are missing last year's smoke & mirrors)
NY Jets over Miami (no one should want to see this one)
San Diego over San Francisco (As a long-time Saints fan, I'm enjoying the recent 49ers.)
Denver over Oakland (I'd pick this even with the 15 point spread)
Chicago over Arizona (Bears squash Cardinals, don't they?)

That's only 13 games, so there must be extra byes this week.

Man...y'all make it tough when you don't agree. Why can't y'all pick the same teams? lol I will have to see who seems to be the favorite.

I wouldn't exactly call myself a NASCAR fan, but since I am trying to beat Ozzy in Fantasy Racing, I have been following it more. I have to pull for Jeff Burton. He's from my hometown...I went to high school with some of his family. And he has a cute smile. hehe He's doing reeeaally well.

OK...I have to go study the picks now.

I go away a few days and a nascar topic breaks out.

First and foremost, Snowbirds aren't allowed to like Nascars. We had to settle with the yankees and let them in, but until Canada gets a track snowbirds are still banned.

That may be true, a true fan makes time for the races and would never resort to taping them. It is acceptiabl;e for a true fan to sometimes be away from the TV during a race but that's why the race is also broadcasted on radio. If a true fan can't watch the race, he/she will not be far from a radio.

I like the way you forgot to add that I'm kicking your butt. You can try all you want but there is no way you can make up the 500 points that you are behind. LOL Maybe next year when you come out of the closet (not that closet) and finally admitt that you are a fan you'll have a chance. I doubt it but you can look forward to the thought.

If North Carolina can take a hockey team from Connecticut and then @#$%^&* win the Stanley Cup, then anyone who wants should be free to like NASCAR. Why they would I don't know.

The town where I grew up in Mississippi had a track, but now people would would rather follow focus group tested merchandising schemes & drivers than go to a race where people race because they love it and the largest corporate sponsor is the nearest car dealer. That local track is dead now and NASCAR gets rich. There are still thousands of places where people play football for the fun of it, so even the NFL hasn't been able to ruin football the way NASCAR has ruined racing.

You can have the hockey team back, only people here that likes hockey are the yankees that moved here from the north. We don't really want the hockey team.

I agree with you somewhat about nascar. Nascar is no where near as exciting as it used to be. Nascars biggest enemy is nascar.
