I'm not a big fan of the show, but I happened to watch CSI Miami last night...and lo and behold, a Drosera villosa helped crack the case.

they posted the episode online if you want to see:

click on "watch full episodes of CSI: Miami"...the episode's called Rio. it was just a small scene, but still cool to have a CP featured!

    I think it's a re-run.

Or maybe I saw previews and think it's a re-run.

    COOL!

make sure you click on the "Rio" episode title...for some reason it starts playing an older episode automatically...maybe that's what you saw

    Yep it was a rerun.
    Aww the magic of Hollywood.
The actual plant used was a D. adelea , that I planted.
The plant is only 10 minutes into the show so you won't have to swim through the whole program to see it.

I love CP cameos! I remember fondly trying to identify all the plants in the greenhouse scene in Minority Report. I had to re-watch that scene to see what was said. They even made it into Two Weeks Notice.
