Glacier Water Dispensers… Safe for CP’s?

  • #21
It depends on how much water you use. I just have a few plants and go through 10 gal./week. Which works out to $3.30/week for water. So an RO system wouldn't make sence for me.

3.30x52=$171.60
It's a lot cheaper to buy a r/o unit then to buy the water.

I use their machine water all the time. Just look at the nutritional label on the front of the machine - 0% sodium - which means it is safe for your CPs.
0% sodium says nothing about anything else that may be dissolved in the water - this does not mean it is safe for CPs. While a TDS measurement may also not be 100% failsafe, it's probably the least expensive, best risk/reward test that we have available (as others have noted).
