    Dell and Unbuntu

I found this article while browsing my usual "tech sites". Thought some of you might enjoy that.

I don't know anything about linux but I have come to despise Microsoft. Why does all the good software have to be only for windows.

I've been wanting to partition off a section of my drive to see how Linux is. The best thing about Linux is that it's pretty much free.

I'm not a huge linus fan, simply because I have grown up on windows and know how to use it, but linux does run very smoothly. It manages to not freeze up on me as much as Macs OS and windows. I'm just not used to it!

Whatever you might think of Vista, it ain't half as ugly as Unbuntu.

    Feels like Windows 98.

I personally think Ubuntu, after some customization, is one of the best look operating systems available. After using it for around 6 months I can't see myself going back to windows. I had used windows since windows 3.1 but always got frustrated with the operating system for some reason...

p.s. I think Dell shipping linux loaded systems is a big step forward to the linux community
