BACPS at SF Flower and Garden Show in March

Bay Area Carnivorous Plant Society at
San Francisco Flower and Garden Show in "Sprouts" (The kids section)
March 12th to 16th.

The BACPS has an incredible opportunity to show well over 1,000 kids and many more adults what carnivorous plants are, how they work and how to grow them. It will also let us tell a lot of people about the Society and save hundreds, perhaps thousands of VFT's from certain death.

We will have giant VFT's and Heliamphora's designed by a famous special effects studio, about 600 VFT's for the kids to pot up and take with them, presentations to school kids during the week, coloring books, science fair projects, VFT feedings, and plants, including a huge Nepenthes and pictures.

If you are in the area or are planning on going to the show you should stop by. If you have time to volunteer, there are still open slots for booth staffing. You can find out more about the show by stopping by our web site at www.bacps.org and if you are a member (Joining is free) you can go to our BACPS private forum (Link to it is at the web site) that we just started up a few months ago for club news. It has the complete and updated schedule. We may also need some more plants for display.

That sounds like a great event. Can you take some pictures for those of us who can't be there?
