Well said. Almost everyone I know who has the new Microsoft bloatware has regretted it and most have switched to XP. Get it from Dell that way from the start & save yourself the hassle...

As I said in a previous post, and in consensus with everyone else, VISTA SUCKS. However, with dell, you are almost bound to this OS and you cannot substitute it for XP. The comp configurations under small business might let you still choose XP, however it is actually more expensive than Vista, probably because Microsoft is trying to push their junk (last I checked anyway). I would not get that HP tablet because it has a super tiny screen: 12". If you really think you may want to game later on, you will be extremely limited in your choices because laptop graphics cards are HUGE under-performers. You can still watch HD movies with either of the processor configurations on the laptop because movie rendering is mostly dependent on the processor and either of those will perform just fine, even with a poor video card. I'll try to configure a laptop configuration for you right now and send you the link of what I think will be good, and for a good price.

Dude, Clint, go for the original one. I read an article a year or so ago that talked about consumerism. Now that information is readily accessible and there are so many options (i.e. digital cameras) consumerism will almost always result in disappointment. I wish I could remember where I read it; but, we could obviously debate all day which is better and which is better. The one you originally wanted will work perfectly for you, and it sounds like you would get a good deal. In my opinion, that's all you need.

I think I will get that one. I just found out Mass Effect WILL be on the PC. Will it run it?

I still need to know which processor to get. There are both 75 extra bucks.

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)

    or

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache)

I don't know what that means Each one has a higher number and a lower number than the other.
