    PAK beat me to it... Also, yeah, humidity might be trouble. Fudge is hard - you might try starting with something easier like temperpd chocolate and truffles (tempering is forgiving and truffles have little regard for temperature at all.) Good luck and stick with it - candy skills are very valuable on a kitchen resumé. Plus, you'll never have to buy gifts again.

    Well, I used another recipe and it was the best I've ever made. Still a little grainy but a 100% improvement when it comes to moisture, and NOT crumbly at all!

    It was 1 cup cream, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter. I added extra peanut butter lol. I didn't need to wipe down the sides because it bubbled up so much it was like RIGHT at the edge of the top of the pot. I poured it all out onto the counter and didn't stir it at all.
