4th Annual Pine Barrens Trip - July 18-20

A bit short on the notice, but it's that time of year for the annual Pine Barrens Trip.

I'm staying at a different location then I have the past 3 years I've made this trip. I will be staying at the Bass River State Forest, South Shore Campground.
The dates will be July 18-20th. I will be there early on the 18th, took off work. . I have site #9 reserved.

I know that Ron L. will be making reservations as soon as he can.
Unfortunately my friend Gale can not make it those dates this year, and for me to push it back would end up in early August and want to get there sooner then that. Plus I may make a second trip this year.

The plans are as always......., up in the air. I always take my canoe and do some exploring on the water. I may take the mountain bike this year. Ron do you have one? Gonna take it with you?
If I can find Webb Mills Bog again, probably stop there.

Ahh yes. I hate to admit that I forgot about that pizza shop. I'm sure I would have remembered when I drove by. Man they make a good pizza.

Yes - I have one but I wasn't planning to bring it..... hmmm - how likely that we'd actually use them?? Between exploring on foot w/ Rich, exploring on water in kayaks/canoes, obligatory sitting around & talking about CPs ... there doesn't seem like there's a bunch of 'spare' time ....

It's about that time.

I will be leaving tomorrow after work for the Pine Barrens.

I do know that Rich is going to be coming out Saturday morning around 8:00 - 8:30. We will be going to Webb Mills Bog and some other locations. Then arrive back to Bass River campsite around noon to do some paddling.

You missed a great time Suzanne.

I'll get the pics up as soon as I can. When I talked to the wife Friday night the A/C stopped working. So I had to start trouble shooting when I got home. It's not the condensing section, the compressor and fan work. It's in the furnace that circulates the air. The fan is not running. When I checked it, it wants to start but does not. So I either need a new start capacitor, I hope, or the motors bad. I'll bring a capacitor home from work tomorrow, and maybe a motor if we have the right size, and hopefully get it running tomorrow.
