Capensis are you using a mouse to do digital art in photoshop or did you buy a Wacom Intuos pen & tablet? I have a tablet but am not doing all the digital art I intended to when I bought it. It's hard to learn the habit, like relearning how to draw all over again. I already know how to use a pencil so I find myself reverting to analog!
Check out www.imaginefx.co.uk for lots of "workshops" (tutorials) on digital fantasy, manga, Sci-Fi , etc painting. They also have a forum. I used to buy the mag but now just read it at the shop and the tutorials online.
Mostly I have piles of brainstorming sketches and less fully finished stuff. I wish I had the desire to finish all my sketches into complete works... here's some of the piles
first a few Toy Riot skateboard deck designs I never got around to releasing (yet.. lol) You can see I taught myself to draw as a kid looking at Pushead/Metallica/Zorlac 80's skateboard art...
a couple digital sketches:
How about some sculptures....
Any Warhammer fans? Here's a truly "great sized" Great Unclean One's obese mass settled next to standard 28mm terminator marine miniature...
I wish I had the time/desire to do this kinda stuff again it was so fun! The time I spent working at the the Minneapolis toy studio was awesome - damned economy ruined it for us.
Wow, you guys are really good.
Swords, I used to collect some of the Warhammer stuff simply to assemble and paint. I never really got into the playing part.
Haven't really had time to do much since school started, but here are some of mine:
Madag ki alilid
yeah, painting minis and reading the books only, I never got to actually play either.
