I'm growing CPs in the Desert of Tucson, Az
Admin
So, apparently quite a few of the people here think I live in a desert that means you look out and see miles and miles and miles of sand... and nothing else but a few buggies and horses. So I figured I'd give a quick tour of my town so you can get a better idea of where I live!
Enjoy,
Andrew

Here is my son standing in front of our house

The law enforcement and the local photographer... It's about to shut down though due to digital cameras.. But we can print our pictures there now so that's cool.

I think it's a giant hole in our dimmension that lets the space aliens go through and mutilate your cattle and go back that only shows up in pictures.

Tuscon is very neat. I've been there on a few layovers and enjoyed the area. I had some relatives that lived there for a time, and they enjoyed it also.

I've heard it's not quite as hot as Phoenix, due to elevation. Do you find that true?

Also - is that really your house? If so - looks great. I love that southwestern and old western architecture. Very unique.

WOW, you just took me down memory lane big time!!!!! My dad lived in AZ so every year as a child I would spend 2-8 months with him (depending on the year) and one of the cities we lived in was Tucson so it is great to see pics again....its been a long time since I even thought about Tucson let alone remembered its beauty, I truly miss the dessert, its such a relaxing place in my opinion.... My fondest memory of that area was when our class was chosen to visit the Biosphere 2 when it was about half way through construction, I just looked up pics of it and it has changed a lot since I last saw it.

Thanks for the pics, I can truly say this is one time when a post really knocked my breath out!

I thought they started wanting a horse for their eighth birthday? ???

I wanted a horse since I could breathe.

Boy, those kids are growing fast! They are so cute. Look how big Caiden has gotten!

That's not Tucson! lol

You're right, it's not! LOL I've just been told too many times over the last few years how people think I live in some old west sandy desert with horses and all that haha... The pictures above are of a place called Old Tucson (oldtucson.com) they have movies shot there and such... Like Tombostone... So we took the kids there for their first time this past week and I got this idea to post the pictures. Hope you enjoyed them anyway!! I've been there probably 8 times or so... It's always a decent time. Kinda expensive though.... *shrug*

My wife and son "driving" and old time car (note the track that keeps the car on the road... you can drive about a foot either way though)

Here is a satalite view of Old Tucson:

And here is the real Tucson:

Still not as big as some of your towns... but not some sand desolate of an area either :p And I bet it's bigger than Rattler's place! hehe And yeah.. we have a few hot topics

It's amazing it's so close.. and looks so different... Just on the other side of some mountains:
