Those among other things are racist stereotypes if you know anything about the history of racism in America. I guess it is all rather "traditional". The Star of David on it did surprise me though.
Here's another thing I forgot to point out. Liberals believe racism can only come from the "dominant" race of society projected onto a "minority". Wrong. People voting for Obama, especially of Black descent, are equally able of being racist against John McCain.

Are you suggesting that redistribution of wealth from one social economic class to another is not a tenet of Socialism?

When a girl asked why her dad, a doctor has to pay more in taxes than poor kids parents. He said the words "Well, I think the rich can afford to pay a little more." Now 8 years later when Obama's saying the same thing, it's "socialist".
    Source? DailyKOS doesn't count BTW.

WOW! JUST WOW!!! Are you trying to suggest that someone who's Black can't have conservative viewpoints? How freakin ignorant can you get!?

What is all this banter? What does my personal opinion on how race effects my vote have to do with the rest of the country or you moving?

Rich white guys... Do I sense racism on your part?

"Did you see that stuffed monkey with the Obama sticker on it? it was soooo cute!" If that's what you're expecting you're going to have to wait a long time...
I didn't just OVERHEAR a conversation. I sat 2 feet away from it. This conversation was being held with the Obama table and Obama volunteers. It wasn't a back and forth Obama/McCain supporter bashing fest. It was an Obama supporter out of line, high fiving other Obama supporters while laughing at the thought of drowning all the Christians and "white people" comments. The person knew they were out of line, twice they looked towards the students lounging around and said "I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK I'M CRAZY". Nobody provoked it and nobody contended with the comments. It's amazing how you can just brush this aside.

Now you're throwing the word "redneck" around...

Blah blah blah... your opinion about religious ideologies (which has very little weight after the religion shopping catalog thread) is worthless.

Even though that you believe you're "above it all" and so "open-minded" you still SERVE and WORSHIP something. It may not be an official religion and you may not meet up once a week with other followers but mark my words you're still a slave to something.

hits a little too close to home it would seem.
its easier to ignore the unseemly aspects of ourselves.

Since he doesn't buy into a pre-fab ideology his opinion is meaningless (code for "incomprehensible to non-thinking persons")- move along!!

Now Sarah Palin thinks that as VP she would be in charge of the Senate. Maybe she thinks that as President (in 2012) she would be able to appoint herself to the Supreme Court.

or.. you represent a bitter minority alright, a bigoted arrogant minority who thinks anyone who doesnt agree with their narrow view must be stupid and non-thinking..
    as you so clearly admitted..

Since you buy into a pre-fab ideology your opinion is meaningless (code for "incomprehensible to thinking persons")- move along!!

    thats also a possibility IMO...

how can we tell which side is really buying into the pre-fab view?
the fringe left or the fringe right??
and we have both sides on this forum..

honestly, I think both fringes are insane..immune to reason and logic.
Ive always said Michael Moore and Michael Savage are exactly the same person..
totally out of touch with anything even resembling reality..

IMO, the only "thinking people" are the ones in the middle..
yes, you can be a bit left or right of center and have your "favorite side"..
    most people are and do..
but if you are one of those who thinks your side is ALWAYS right and the other side is ALWAYS wrong, you might want to consider that maybe YOU are the one who has been brainwashed..and not the "other side"..

when your only response to valid points about yourself and the things you say is:

(which is intended to be nothing but an insult)
IMO you arent really thinking at all..

What more can I really do but post a laughing face if people tell me they've got me all figured out? Am I supposed to prove them "wrong" somehow?

My "god" or my deep dark secret worship? Probably it would be books. I'm a reading addict. I sneak reading on various topics in wherever I can throughout my day. I'm a loose canon though, I'll read books even by authors I don't agree with. Lately I've been reading "Religion for the Hell of It" by Dr. Wilson. Right now I'm on the chapter about The Church of Fred Mertz Bodhisattva. This lighthearted little cult is based on the idea that Fred Mertz from I Love Lucy is a Bodhisattva. If you watch Lucy with the right frame of mind you'll find that Fred says many profound things like "What?" or "Huh?" or "I just don't understand what's going on here at all". The founder Antero Alli says that if you meditate on these phrases you can attain supreme enlightenment or at the very least waste a good deal of time...

All kidding aside, for the rest of you, my aunt told me that the receptionist at her job (Bachman's Garden Centers and Plant Leasing) keeps getting calls and e-mails from people wanting to know if the store is related at all with Michele Bachmann and her hunt for anti-americanism. The stores official policy to callers and e-mailers is "The names are spelled differently and we just sell plants and supplies." I didn't really believe her that people were calling until I saw it on the local news tonight.
