I always liked the silly saying: "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." but there are so many more interesting ideas we can play with using this phrase as an outline.

So the task in this thread is to see how many funny, interesting or thought provoking permutations of this phrase we can all come up with by replacing the word guns in this bit...
 
Since I brought it up I'll go first:

If creativity is outlawed, only outlaws will be creative.

If marriage is outlawed, only outlaws will have inlaws.

If expanding your consciousness is outlawed, only outlaws will work towards expanded consciousness.

If dissention is outlawed, only outlaws will dissent.

If ontological games are outlawed, only outlaws will play ontological games.

I love the marriage and the evolution ones! (well, and the original gun one) Lemme try!

If rules are outlawed, only the outlaws will rule.

If high oil prices were outlawed, only OPEC would have oil. (does that work? :p)
