Hey guys,
I've got an internship at the local university, and I've been assigned to identify a greenhouse full of plants. Despite being botanists, they don't have a clue as to the identification of most of the plants; most of the labels are so old that they have faded.
So, I've managed to get most of them (roughly 30 or so species of various cacti, succulents and an assortment of tropicals/subtropicals). I'm asking you guys to help me to identify a few plants that I'm not incredibly familiar with.
First up, some orchids:
(Cattleya sp.)
1.
2.
Cacti:
(H. attenuata)---> originally labelled as H. margaritifera
3.
Aloe of some sort; could it be A. vera? I'm not too convinced.
4.
Some species of Opuntia.
5.
Some sort of jungle cacti? Or Stapeliad?
6.
Some species of Aloe, once again. Could it be A. glauca?
7.
Orbea??
8.
(Peperomia obtusifolia?)
9.
(Ledebouria socialis)
10.
Thanks a ton for your help, guys.
