Finally found pots and trays!

After looking at all the local nurseries within a hundred mile radius and ebay and still not finding what I want I've finally located sellers of hard plastic 2.5" and 4" square pots (not the flimsy jiffy pots) and 21" x 11" sturdy, form fitting (holding each pot), draining, space maximizing carrying trays to fit them. Right here:

These are the ones they use at the nurseries that I like when see them but aren't available for sale to the public.

They do have other size and shape pots and carry trays too if you like bigger or other styles. No rediculous minimum quantities and free UPS ground shipping on orders over $75. I'm not advertising for these people (per se) just letting you know where to get these space saving pots and trays incase you've also been fruitlessly trying to find them like I have... until now!

And tomorrow's my payday... "O O Hoppy Potty"! :boogie:

Swords,

Thanks for the link. It will come in very useful.

Yes, this is my source too and they have good pots. You can also find this seller on ebay if you do a search.

Hey, good tip guys - I'll definitely be using these folks in the future.
Thanks,
~Joe

Great find. Charley's sells the same brand at similar prices but the minimum is 50.

The only thing I don't like about those pots is that they get brittle more rapidly in the sun than other brands I've used

Hey, nice find swords, i might get some nice 3-6in pots from them in the future, good competitivie pricing....

as for what im looking for now is 1-3 gallon pots for sarracenia's and temperate species...given this size they should get a better chance of surviving the overwintering in zone6...

here is the top site were ive found the cheapest pots

http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/default.asp
~this is were i think im going to by my pots from, cheapest prices, unless ebay comes up with something...
~thnk they said flat rate of $14.80 for shipping (when i asked for 120 pots)

http://www.growerssolution.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?
~this seems like another cheap place to purchase pots too...
~though they said about $40 to ship 105 pots, though price/pot is cheaper

these were also a couple places to consider buying pots...

i think im purchasing from the greenhouse megastore, but thats for nursery pots by gallon in size...im not sure on competitive pricing between the stores when it comes to smaller pots, though ebay has tons of nice sized lots of the smaller pots being sold new/used and a lot cheaper than most online wholesalers...i think im cutting my pot count to about 50-75 pots, 100 seems like to many now.....

when i get my purchase in to one of the nurserys i can leave some feedback on them, but i have not yet ordered from these wholesalers before...

Sometimes I liked Mad TV! I didn't know what band they were making fun of with that but they kinda reminded me of Aqua the band who did that "Barbie Girl" song. That was the worst eye-slaughter video I ever saw... so bad I had to go buy the CD just to see how bad the whole thing was! :D

How old is that pot NAN - any idea? I've had some do that but since I always reused them who knows how old it was before that happened. Ever knock a plastic pot to the floor and have it shatter (crack into pieces) like a clay one? That was weird the first time that happened to me I didn't think it was possible!
