    Ok, so on yet another division I find another fused pair
    There's something very fishy going on here. Have you been giving your plants "enhancement" drugs of any sort?

    I'll have to hunt down some of the other people who've gotten this plant from me and see if they've ever seen this. I take it that none of your other Sarracenia exhibit this?

    I treated them with Trichoderma last fall. Other than that I've been hard hit by mealybugs this year. The Neem oil and Imidacloprid might have something to do with it.

    As I predicted I'd get some double traps on my Dionaea. Here's one on a 'Justina Davis'. My Dionaea were hit hard by spider mites, aphids and a few with mealybugs, which could account for the aberration also:
