Death Cubes Do Have a Purpose

I had been tossing the idea around for a while ,of making a flooded tank for my Utric's so i could view the traps . So i used a Death Cube a few months ago and seems to work out nice.
i have noticed that the traps not only are they growing off the whole new leaf growing under the water but the traps are much larger then the traps growing in the soil.

Does or has any one else attempted this ? .
if so what were your results ?
Have you noticed light making your traps larger ?

    here are a few pic's ( U. Livida )

    Thanks Daren

I'm trying it right now, I have U. sanderonnii in a shallow pot thing and there are holes in the bottom and the pot is sitting in a cup full of water... I'm not sure that made sense though. But I just did this a few days ago and there are only like 2 clumps of it there so it will take a while. I got the idea from this website: http://mysite.verizon.net/elgecko1989/Utricularia.html

Here is also another pic from the site:

I like the idea, good luck.

I used one for awhile to rest a pot on the edge of a cube, for a cobra lily. Basically, it was an adaptation of the Slack, "double pot" thing that kept the plant's roots from being permanently wet. But it would work well for utrics and Genlisea.
