Sphagnum Moss best way to keep this alive over winter months

Hi can anyone please advise the best method

Do I keep this totally wet in water or damp in frosty weather etc...

I know it's a little off track however would like to know as it's very closely used with VFT

Many thanks Noddy

then why put this is the VFT section, why not in general discussion?
It doesnt need any special treatment, my sphagnum moss stays alive after being dumped on by snow, freezing solid, flooded out...
it wont die. just keep it moist.

I let my sphagnum dry out and it still comes back. Lol. only way i`ve found you can kill it is if you water it with unpure water....seems it hates chemicals and other stuff

MaxSea, that seaweed stuff that I use with full strength, seems to encourage Sphagnum to grow.

I have only killed Sphagnum once by watering with tap water. Mine bounced back after a light frost.

Well like all things when you know it's easy...

I was not sure if ice in water would kill it or frost that's all as I have it but not set it up yet.
