    Fungicide for seedlings

I'm trying my hand at raising CPs from seed and cuttings, nepenthes, sarracenia, and drosera in particular. And I'm looking for a good general purpose fungicide that is (a) effective, (b) safe for most CPs, (c) human and pet safe, and (d) does not have a pungent odor. I know this is asking a lot, but I'm using it indoors so it cannot be noxious. I would prefer a liquid fungicide. I don't have a lot of money to experiment on a variety of fungicides, so I need a recommendation from the community.

    Thanks,

    -Hermes.

In the past, when I planted seeds in a media mix, I got fungus. Somewhat ironically, when I sterilized the mix, I got more fungus. So, for a bunch of years I didn't grow much from seed. When I use live LFS, no fungus but the LFS grows & will overgrow the seedlings.

About 2 years ago, I tried something - I cooked (boiled) live LFs for several minutes in water. I let it cool down & inoculated with a Trichoderma mix. I've raised up several sets of dews from seed & haven't had any fungal or moss issues at all. So far, I'm quite happy with the approach...

Rinsing the media with a 10% bleach solution will sterilize it. Heating wet peat moss in the microwave oven causes it to break down faster. I would imagine boiling it over a flame would have the same effect. Don't know about long fiber sphagnum.

Could you elaborate more about the Trichoderma mix? I am not at all familiar with it.
