Ok so I have my Ph meter in hand now and the only instructions say:

"Do not use distilled or deionized water for storage purposes"

So what do I use? Plain tap water and put it in the cap? The card doesn't say.

The cap of the unit is dry now but there is a note that my unit was tested at the factory on January 3rd 2010, so shouldn't there be water in the cap now since it was technically "used" by testing it?

The only other instructions are how to calibrate it with the solution and tiny screwdriver it came with.

Do I have to calibrate it before each use? The instructions card is not informative...

Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.
