So, what are some of the weirdest things you've fed to your plants?

I just fed my Cephalotus a tonsil stone that I just gagged up.

I've given you rain
seems you're not happy
'less I open a vein
I'll give you a few drops
If that'll appease
Oh please, grow for me"

I don't care what anyone says, boys are definitely the oddest creatures out there

Yeah, wolf.... That's pretty friggin hardcore.

I hate to admit that I am beaten by leagues of weirdness here!

I'm drawing a serious blank here...I guess I haven't been very experimental in this realm.

Probably the weirdest thing I've fed a plant was a pupa that I found in the moss. I cut it open with my knife as it was squirming. Yellow goo came out and I fed the insides to a Drosera. It ended up burning the leaves.

freeze dried blood worms.. but that's normal for these parts.

****ing gross, dude

one time my cat left a mangled bird on my porch with its innards hanging out and i fed the heart to one of my pitcher plants

I don't see what's wrong with a tonsil stone. It's just calcified puss (the plant will enjoy all the dead white blood cells).

Weirdest thing.....I gave a bunch of CPs squirrel blood once....only a small drop for most, several drops for the neps.....seemed to improve growth on most of them, especially the neps.

WTF!! Diets of blood and pus? I think y'all missed Halloween by a few months. LOL!

Nah, the weirdest I ever got was collecting long-dead bug exoskeletons from a ceiling light fixture and feeding them to my VFT. Other than that, just the usual freeze dried blood worms. I lose.

I have a friend that can sing that entire movie by heart.

I gave her a couple Drosera Capensis to introduce her to the real thing and she's hooked. Even bought an ant farm with a supply of ants for food :-))

Can't say I've heard of anyone actually feeding their plants blood though...

How 'bout going vegan? I've fed my Droseras walnuts, pinto beans, avocado, coffee grounds and Boca Burger. They loved all but the coffee grounds (the leaf curled backwards, LOL!).

Feeding? BAH! If my plants want food they've got to catch it.

Boogers. My Regia seem to love em... especially the big, slimy ones

I didn't recognize the lyrics (Little Shop...). I just googled them.
