1 week left until the MN orchid show

Just a general heads up for anyone in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa who's interested in orchids that the 2011 Orchid Society show will be on next weekend: Sat Jan 29 & Sunday Jan 30 at the Como Zoo Conservatory in St. Paul, MN

    Full info is here:
    http://mnorchid.synthasite.com/winter-carnival-2011.php

They always have plenty of vendors to make the the trip worthwhile to acquire some rare or mini orchids without having to pay shipping. About the only way to get neat plants in MN this time of year!

I certainly can, PM me with your orchid wish lists and the prices you're willing to pay for each plant on the list. I will contact you after the show as to what I found and send them with their receipts in priority box with a 72 hour heat pack included for about $7-8 total unless it needs a bigger than standard box. The heat pack does add weight but it's well below zero here so I would highly recommend it. For those of you who've had bad experiences with heat packs note that I use the plant/animal heat packs intended for the purpose of cold weather shipping, not the 8 hour ones from the hardware store that blaze like a comet.

If any of you want these heat packs for yourself the 10 packs are the most cost effective:
