Those are Viola, rlly common in flowershops here.
They flower all year.

Very nice. I've never seen those around here. I'll have to look around for some seeds of those when I start my flower garden. I also like Snap Dragons and Fox Glove.

They are rlly easy to grow from seed, and usually get better colors.
Most colors over here are started from wild viola's wich are white/purple with a blue/yellow hart, and eventually become like that over time.
I got some wild fox glove in my frontyard :)
Snap Dragons dont do very well here.

Can I come live in your garden, puhlease?

Very nice :hail: I can't wait til my order comes from Wistuba too. Watch that peltata carefully.. mine insta-melted once I got it, don't know if it was humidity or what.

  • #44
Fine by me, you can sleep under the garden table ;)
How fast did your peltata melt ?

  • #45
Oh awesome... do I get a cushion to sleep on or do I have to be on the hard ground?

I think it was actually from the first day... I think it was right after two weeks it had melted a whole leaf like a ping does when it's too wet (even though I wasn't keeping it too wet). I'll check photobucket again when it's up for me again.

This is the first time I have seen someone post a picture of a Red Alder as a plant that they grow. :-)) It's classy, I like it.

Of course, all of your plants are looking terrific and the new-comers are definitely full of boisterous potential.
