Wow you were totally lying when you said your plants weren't doing well!!

Your pots are all cute :p Just wondering, what is your potting mix and how often do you water? I'm trying to figure out how to better water my plants.

Gorgeous Ceph! Wow, last time I saw it it was about the size of a quarter, great job growing it!

Cool to see the Veitchii on the window too!

Ooooh wow, everything looks so fantastic! :-D

Thanks everyone!

Thez, hehe those are just the ones that look good ;)

As for my media, well, it is rather here and there. So here I go:

For my N. Hamata and N. Macrophylla, I decided to use pure live LFS. This is normally not the best media choice for larger neps, but since they are small it is ok because, they will eventually be repotted when larger, I decided to use the smaller pots since LFS holds water, so, even though I need to keep on eye on them more often, it'll reduce the possibility of rotting, not to mention these are porous clay pots!

For my windowsill neps, they are mostly all potted in LFS/perlite/peat/bark, which drains quite easily, it dries out fast in the low humidity environment, that is why its better for the window than the terrarium. I water when the surface feels dry, I let the water run into a tray, and leave it there, for extra moisture.

I don't do this for my terra, as I am scared to rot everything... so I'm am much more careful when it copmes to watering the terra plants.

I hope this helped!

It doesn't :(

Roughly how often - once a week? 3X a week? once a month?
