    Monkey's update thread

So, I went and met the other grower in my area this morning, and got very extited about all the plants the had. He also gave me a couple of new sundews so I decided to make an update. Here goes.

    My pretty one.

The other one. Had a couple of bug problems...

    SUNDEWS

    D. venusta seedlings

    D. filliformis seedlings.

    D. capensis alba seedlings

    D. prolifera I saved from the mail.

New guy, D. dielsiana. I love the way this one looks.

Another new guy, D. x tokaiensis

I also sowed 50+ N. truncata seeds the other day. I'll post pics as they germinate.

I know... those were the fist seeds I ever planted. I can't really do much until the seedlings get bigger though.

    Nice

A little cinnamon on that green slime might help clear it out...

Like the cinnamon you get typically in the US or real legitimate cinnamon?

It appears that cinnamon is only effective against dry molds. The "cassia" cinnamon commonly available in the United States seems to have some anti-fungal effects. Whether or not "true" cinnamon is more or less effective remains to be seen. Your "slime" is probably Nostoc - algae/cyanobacteria.
Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.

Well, the plants are growing, so eventually I'll just replant them.
