    Pictures of Southeast Alaska

I take a lot of pictures of where I live and I have in the past shared them with you guys before. I just now met a really fast internet connection and so I have been able to upload many more pictures. I will update this thread throughout the seasons with pictures I feel are worth looking at of the various ecological systems that I am blessed to be able to experience.

    First off - The beach:

The lowest tide of the year.

    And the things you'll find,

    Sea Cucumbers

    Moon Snail Eggs

    An octopus's final resting place.

    With my phone for scale

    Drifting Logs

    That homey feel.

    Happy Clams

Gotta love the creatures. I love that last photo, it's very crisp and clear.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing!

Wow, more pics! Really cool landscapes! The last pic of sphagnum looks neat, the way the green edges fade into the reds. I take it you didn't see any carnivorous plants, as you would have posted pics of them.

Amazing pics! I love those reds in there, and the emptiness of that pond with an occasional lilypad is just breathtaking. I wish I had my very own never ending brown watered ocean. :P

OH MEI LORD SEA CUCUMBERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS <3
