So, I've never really posted pics of my growing arrangement, because everybody's greenhouses and terrariums put my lowly college student-budget windowsill to shame! At my low point I only had about 2 CPs to my name (bad plantsitter while I was abroad)... dark days.
Now, four years later, a thesis finished, a year in Spain, and freshly graduated, I'm trying to rebuild my collection! Again, space (and money) are an issue in my small apartment, but I'm doing what I can. Most of my plants hold their own, considering the most specialized care I can give is a daily misting. So, here is what I have currently: (don't laugh... too much )
Drosera x 'Marston Dragon'
(My thanks to Jimscott for these two dews)
N. ventricosa (Lowe's rescue from a few years back... it's made it this far!)
D. capensis seedlings
and assorted house plants...
I also apologize for the poor picture quality... My camera did not survive college, so I'm making do with my phone for now.
N. ventricosa: (with a new basal shoot coming up!)
N. sanguinea after I first got it:
N. sanguinea: (It just opened the pitcher on the left yesterday, new one coming in on the right side)
And for the cuteness factor, here is Maebe Jane, our cat. She likes to "help" me take care of the plants (like sitting on my lap to get the best view so I can't move or see the plants while I'm working):
Hope you guys like it!
